Parkinson’s Foundation Invites Applications for Community Grants Program

The Parkinson’s Foundation aims to make life better for people with Parkinson’s disease (PD) by improving care and advancing research toward a cure.

The foundation invites applications for its Community Grants program, which funds community grants that further the health, wellness, and education of people with PD across the country. The foundation funds programs that are impactful, sustainable, scalable, and measurable. Programs may be new and existing grant-supported areas and/or pilot programs. All funded organizations and institutions must demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Programs for the 2026 grant cycle should be geared toward expanding or creating access for populations of focus and must incorporate at least one of the following focus areas: address mental health and PD, reach and support care partners of individuals with PD, and educate and deliver exercise programs specifically designed for people with PD

To be eligible, organizations must operate on the local level (or be an affiliate/chapter of a larger organization that operates locally). Eligible applicants include nonprofit and other tax-exempt organizations and for-profit organizations (may be eligible if the program is offered at no cost). This funding opportunity is available only to independent community/local organizations and does not extend to chapters of a national organization.
