Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Address Childhood Obesity and Health Inequities
For more than two decades, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) has spearheaded national initiatives aimed at preventing childhood obesity nationwide. As they near the culmination of their dedicated efforts in 2025, RWJF remains committed to fostering environments where all children and families in the United States can flourish.
Through this request for proposals, RWJF seeks to advance initiatives that will bolster, maintain, and innovate the efforts of organizations and communities leading the charge in equity-focused childhood obesity prevention. The call for proposals aims to identify projects capable of driving systemic change, confronting structural racism, and promoting health equity in the fight against childhood obesity. The program will distribute up to $22 million in funding. The number of awards will depend on the budgets of selected projects.
