Youth Service America Is On A Mission
Youth Service America (YSA) is on a mission to make working together for the common good the common expectation and common experience of every young person. YSA’s National Days of Service Lead Agency Grants provide support to statewide or citywide coalitions throughout the U.S. that are organizing youth service or service-learning projects on national days of service.
Grants are offered on a competitive application basis and are open to the following entities:
AT THE STATE LEVEL
-state education agency
-state afterschool network
-state mentoring network
-statewide youth development program/network
-statewide non-profit association
-state service commission
-state higher education network
At A CITY/COUNTY LEVEL
-school district / local education agency
-youth development collaborative
-citywide afterschool, youth development, or mentoring program
-volunteer center or United Way
-Mayor’s office/Chief Service Officer
-local higher education consortium
